Mona’s career in the foundry business actually began at Kansas Matchplate in Caney, KS with general office responsibilities. Later, she moved on to Caney Castings, an aluminum foundry also in Caney. There, she was tasked in bookkeeping and secretarial responsibilities. Caney Castings became part of Morrow Foundry in 1985. In 1998, Mona moved over to Morrow Foundry in Coffeyville, KS as part of the office staff there. In 2009, she became the Office Manager at Morrow Foundry.
