Don Sewell has more than 40 years of experience in the foundry industry. His training started when he was still in high school. He worked at Caney Castings, in Caney, KS, after school preparing molding sand for the molders to use the following day. He began working full time there in 1976 as a molder. In 1985, ownership of that foundry changed and Don accepted a position there as plant supervisor. In 1997, Don transferred to Morrow Foundry in Coffeyville, KS as the night shift plant supervisor. In 1999, he became the General Manager at Morrow Foundry. Don recently retired but continues in a part time capacity as Project Manager.
